RIATICKET Venue Operator

Venue Operator Help & FAQ

Answers to common questions about joining RIATICKET as a venue operating organization. Features marked as planned will become available as the Venue Operator Portal rollout continues.

Registration and access

Who should register as a Venue Operator?

Organizations responsible for operating or managing one or more venues—such as theaters, arts centers, event halls, community facilities and venue management companies.

Can one operator manage multiple venues?

Yes. The portal is designed for one operating organization to manage multiple venues assigned by RIATICKET Platform Admin.

What happens after I register?

Verify your email using the six-digit code. Your organization is then placed into a pending approval state. RIATICKET Platform Admin reviews your registration and assigns approved venues.

Why can't I manage a venue immediately after registering?

Registration alone does not establish authority over a physical venue. Platform Admin must approve the operator organization and the venue assignment before management access is enabled.

How do I sign in?

Enter your registered email address and verify the one-time code delivered to your email. If you have one authorized operator membership, RIATICKET opens it directly. If you have multiple owner or staff memberships, a selection popup lets you choose the organization or venue to access. You do not need an Operator Reference ID at login.

Can different staff members have different permissions?

Yes. The role and permission foundation supports venue managers, booking managers, finance staff, operations staff, front desk staff and read-only users. Staff invitation screens will be introduced in a later phase.

Venues, rentals and bookings

Who creates venue spaces and physical seating layouts?

RIATICKET Platform Admin creates and maintains the authoritative physical venue spaces and seating layouts. Authorized operators will manage availability, rental policies and permitted operating details.

Will I be able to close a space for maintenance?

Planned: Operators will manage hours, closures and maintenance blocks. A temporary closure will not automatically cancel existing confirmed bookings.

Can I charge hourly or daily rental rates?

Planned: Rate plans will support hourly, partial-day and daily pricing, with applicable date-based rules, extra time, equipment, security, cleaning and other charges.

How will booking requests be handled?

Planned: A requester submits a date, time, space and event details. Authorized operators can review, ask questions, quote, approve or decline. A final reservation is confirmed according to agreed conditions.

Can requesters pay a deposit and remaining balance online?

Planned: Venue rental quotations will support deposits, outstanding balances, due dates, online payments, receipts and applicable refunds. Deposit requirements will depend on the venue's policy.

How are overlapping bookings prevented?

Planned: Confirmed reservations and active holds will be checked against the same venue space and time window, including setup and teardown buffers. Availability shown in a calendar does not override server-side conflict checks.

Can sellers use approved seating layouts?

Planned integration: Sellers may be authorized to use the published physical layout for an approved event occurrence, while applying permitted event-specific ticket groups and prices without changing physical seat IDs.

What if my question isn't listed?

Email help@riaticket.com. Include your organization name and Operator Reference ID when available. Do not include verification codes or payment card information.
