Important notice

By accessing RIATICKET, creating an account, listing an event, purchasing or using a ticket, operating a box office, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Event-specific terms and seller policies may also apply.

01

Acceptance, Eligibility, and Authority

These Terms form a binding agreement between the user and RIATICKET for use of the platform. A user who does not agree must not access or use RIATICKET.

Users must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. A minor may use the platform only through a parent or legal guardian, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. A person using RIATICKET for a company, seller, venue, event organizer, school, nonprofit, government body, or other organization represents that the person has authority to bind that organization.

Additional product terms, seller agreements, event policies, venue rules, waivers, payment-provider terms, or promotional terms may apply. If they conflict, the more specific terms generally govern the specific transaction or service, except where prohibited by law.

02

RIATICKET's Role as a Ticketing Platform

RIATICKET provides technology for event discovery, ticket sales, booking, payment administration, ticket issuance, reporting, box-office operations, and ticket validation. Unless RIATICKET is expressly identified as the event organizer or seller, the applicable seller, venue, attraction, or organizer is responsible for producing, operating, changing, postponing, or canceling the event and for the accuracy of event-specific information.

For Customers and Attendees

The purchase is for admission or another event-related service supplied by the identified seller. RIATICKET may facilitate the transaction and provide platform support.

For Sellers and Organizers

The seller remains responsible for its events, legal compliance, ticket inventory, descriptions, venue operations, customer obligations, refunds, and staff activity.

RIATICKET does not guarantee that an event will occur as scheduled, that every listing will be error-free, or that a seller will perform obligations outside RIATICKET's direct control.
03

Accounts, Credentials, and Security

  • Account information must be accurate, current, and complete.
  • Users are responsible for protecting passwords, verification codes, devices, and account access.
  • Accounts may not be sold, transferred, shared, or used by unauthorized persons.
  • Seller administrators are responsible for staff invitations, roles, permissions, and timely removal of access.
  • Users must promptly report suspected unauthorized access, fraud, or credential compromise.

RIATICKET may require identity, email, phone, business, tax, payment, or payout verification. We may reject, limit, or suspend an account where information cannot be verified or where activity presents legal, financial, operational, or security risk.

04

Customer and Attendee Responsibilities

Before purchasing, customers must review the event title, seller, location, date, time, ticket type, quantity, seating information, age restrictions, accessibility information, refund policy, fees, taxes, and any event-specific requirements.

  • Provide accurate purchaser and attendee information.
  • Ensure the selected ticket is suitable for the intended attendee.
  • Keep tickets, QR codes, barcodes, and order details secure.
  • Do not duplicate, alter, forge, or publicly post ticket codes.
  • Arrive on time and comply with venue, safety, security, age, identification, dress, and conduct rules.
  • Confirm event updates before travel or attendance.

A purchaser buying for another attendee represents that the purchaser is authorized to provide the attendee's information and communicate applicable event terms to that attendee.

05

Seller, Partner, and Organizer Responsibilities

Sellers must maintain accurate account, business, event, venue, ticket, tax, payout, and contact information and must possess all rights, permissions, licenses, permits, insurance, and authority required to list, promote, sell, and operate each event.

  • Honor valid tickets sold through RIATICKET.
  • Maintain accurate capacity, inventory, seating, schedule, and availability information.
  • Disclose material event restrictions, refund rules, fees, taxes, and attendee requirements.
  • Comply with consumer-protection, accessibility, safety, tax, licensing, privacy, marketing, and payment laws.
  • Train and supervise staff using seller dashboards, scanning, reporting, and box-office tools.
  • Respond promptly to customer, refund, dispute, chargeback, safety, and platform inquiries.
  • Not use purchaser or attendee data for unauthorized or unrelated purposes.

A seller is responsible for acts and omissions of its owners, representatives, employees, contractors, venues, promoters, and authorized users.

06

Event Listings, Inventory, and Approval

Event listings must be truthful, complete, current, and not misleading. Sellers must accurately describe the event, performer or attraction, venue, location, schedule, ticket type, seating, inclusions, exclusions, restrictions, cancellation policy, and any material condition affecting a purchasing decision.

Submission, review, approval, or publication of a listing does not mean that RIATICKET endorses the event or assumes the seller's legal duties. RIATICKET may request changes, pause sales, limit inventory, reject a listing, or remove content that is incomplete, unlawful, misleading, unsafe, infringing, or inconsistent with platform standards.

Sellers must not oversell inventory, manipulate availability, create duplicate inventory outside approved workflows, or issue conflicting tickets for the same capacity or seat.

07

Prices, Fees, Taxes, and Currency

RIATICKET displays ticket prices, mandatory fees, taxes, and the total payable amount during the purchase process. Optional products or services may be displayed separately. The final amount shown before confirmation controls, subject to correction of an obvious error where legally permitted.

Sellers are responsible for base prices, discounts, special pricing, inventory-based pricing, required event charges, and information needed to calculate applicable taxes. RIATICKET may charge platform, booking, payment-processing, delivery, or other disclosed fees.

Currency-conversion charges, foreign transaction fees, bank fees, or card-issuer charges imposed by third parties are not controlled by RIATICKET. Customers should review the currency displayed at checkout.

Ticket pricing must not use hidden mandatory fees or misleading drip-pricing practices. Sellers must provide RIATICKET with complete pricing information needed to display the required total price.
08

Orders, Confirmation, and Ticket Delivery

A ticket is not reserved merely because it appears in a cart or checkout screen. Availability and price are not guaranteed until the order is successfully completed and confirmed.

An order may be subject to quantity limits, fraud screening, payment authorization, inventory confirmation, or seller review. RIATICKET may reject or cancel an order affected by suspected fraud, unauthorized use, duplicate purchasing, technical error, pricing error, inventory conflict, sanctions restrictions, or other legal or operational issue.

Tickets may be delivered by account access, email, download, QR code, barcode, mobile display, printed document, box-office pickup, or another method stated during checkout. Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking spam or junk folders.

09

Event Rules, Admission, and Ticket Validation

Admission is subject to the ticket's validity and the seller's or venue's rules. A ticket may permit one admission only and may become invalid after successful scanning or use.

  • Late admission, re-entry, seating changes, bag restrictions, photography, recording, food, alcohol, parking, and security procedures are controlled by the seller or venue.
  • Identity, age, waiver, or eligibility verification may be required where disclosed or legally necessary.
  • An altered, duplicated, refunded, canceled, transferred improperly, previously used, or fraudulently obtained ticket may be rejected.
  • Removal or denied admission for lawful safety, security, misconduct, or policy reasons may not create a refund right.

Sellers must use reasonable procedures to validate tickets and must not invalidate a legitimate ticket without an appropriate basis.

10

Event Changes, Postponements, Cancellations, and Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the event-specific policy shown before purchase, applicable law, and any later instructions issued for a changed, postponed, or canceled event.

Customer-requested cancellation

Unless the listing expressly allows cancellation or applicable law requires otherwise, completed ticket purchases may be final and non-refundable because inventory is removed from sale for a specific event, date, time, or capacity.

Event canceled

If an event is canceled and not rescheduled, the seller is responsible for authorizing and funding required refunds. The refund may exclude separately disclosed amounts that are lawfully non-refundable, but only where permitted by the applicable policy and law.

Event postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or materially changed

Tickets may remain valid for the replacement event. The seller determines available options, subject to applicable law and the disclosed policy. Customers should retain tickets and follow instructions sent to the order email address.

Refund timing depends on seller authorization, payment method, banking systems, and processor timelines. A refund issued by RIATICKET may take additional business days to appear on the customer's account.

11

Ticket Transfers, Resale, and Purchasing Limits

A ticket may be transferred or resold only when the event permits it, the platform provides an authorized method, and the activity complies with applicable law. Some tickets are personal, non-transferable, identity-linked, age-restricted, complimentary, promotional, or subject to resale limitations.

Users must not bypass ticket limits, queues, security measures, access controls, identity requirements, or technological protections. Automated purchasing tools, false identities, coordinated circumvention, and sale of tickets obtained through prohibited circumvention are forbidden.

RIATICKET may cancel affected orders, invalidate tickets, restrict accounts, or cooperate with sellers and authorities when prohibited ticket-acquisition or resale activity is suspected.

12

Payments, Refund Reversals, and Chargebacks

By submitting a payment method, the customer authorizes the applicable payment processor and merchant to charge the displayed total. Payment processing may be governed by the processor's additional terms.

Customers should contact RIATICKET or the seller promptly about an order problem before initiating a payment dispute where practical. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable rights to dispute a billing error or unauthorized charge with a financial institution.

Knowingly filing a false chargeback, retaining the benefit of a valid ticket after receiving a refund, or disputing a properly disclosed and fulfilled transaction may result in account restriction, ticket invalidation, recovery activity, or liability for amounts and costs permitted by law.

Sellers must provide requested records relating to fulfillment, attendance, ticket scans, customer communications, refunds, and event policies to help respond to disputes and chargebacks.

13

Seller Revenue, Reserves, and Payouts

Seller payouts are subject to successful payment collection, verification, applicable fees, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, reserves, rolling holds, minimum payout thresholds, processor requirements, and the seller's separate commercial agreement with RIATICKET.

RIATICKET may delay, reduce, offset, reverse, or withhold a payout where reasonably necessary to address refunds, expected refunds, canceled events, chargebacks, negative balances, fraud, legal orders, sanctions, tax issues, account verification, breach of terms, or material financial risk.

Sellers remain responsible for amounts owed to customers or RIATICKET, even after funds have been paid out. Sellers authorize RIATICKET to offset such amounts against future balances where permitted.

14

Accessibility and Accessible Ticketing

RIATICKET aims to make its platform usable by people with disabilities. Sellers and venues are responsible for providing legally required accessible facilities, services, seating inventory, companion seating, admission procedures, and accommodations.

Accessible tickets must be offered through required sales channels and on legally compliant terms. Sellers must not charge an unlawful premium solely because a ticket is for an accessible location.

Customers needing accommodations should review the event listing and contact the seller, venue, or RIATICKET support as early as possible. Accessibility requests are subject to availability and applicable law.

15

Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • Use RIATICKET for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Submit false identity, business, event, tax, payment, payout, attendee, or listing information.
  • Interfere with security, availability, rate limits, inventory controls, queues, or platform operation.
  • Use bots, scripts, scraping, credential stuffing, automated purchasing, or unauthorized data extraction.
  • Upload malware, malicious code, or content that infringes rights or violates law.
  • Forge, duplicate, alter, guess, expose, or misuse tickets, QR codes, barcodes, or credentials.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or impersonate another person or organization.
  • Manipulate reviews, prices, availability, sales records, attendance, refunds, or reporting.
  • Use customer data for unauthorized marketing, resale, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
  • Bypass purchasing limits or technological ticketing protections.
16

Content, Trademarks, and Intellectual Property

RIATICKET and its licensors own the platform, software, design, documentation, branding, and other protected materials, excluding seller or user content. Subject to these Terms, RIATICKET grants users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose.

Sellers and users retain ownership of content they submit but grant RIATICKET a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, market, support, and improve the platform and the relevant event.

A person submitting content represents that the person has all necessary rights and permissions and that the content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

17

Privacy, Customer Data, and Communications

RIATICKET's processing of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Sellers may receive purchaser and attendee information necessary to fulfill bookings, operate events, communicate material event information, provide support, and comply with law.

Sellers must implement reasonable security, limit access to authorized personnel, use data only for authorized purposes, honor applicable privacy rights, and provide any legally required independent privacy notice.

Users consent to receiving transactional communications necessary for account security, ticket delivery, event updates, cancellations, refunds, payouts, and support. Marketing communications are subject to applicable law and available opt-out choices.

18

Account Restriction, Suspension, and Termination

RIATICKET may investigate activity and may restrict features, pause sales, hold payouts, remove listings, invalidate tickets, suspend accounts, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, sellers, events, payment systems, RIATICKET, or the public.

Grounds may include suspected fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, prohibited ticket acquisition, inaccurate information, excessive disputes, failure to fund refunds, negative balances, unsafe events, intellectual property complaints, privacy violations, sanctions concerns, or material breach of these Terms.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, indemnities, ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, dispute provisions, and record-retention rights—will survive.

19

Platform and Event Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIATICKET is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. RIATICKET does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free content, constant ticket availability, compatibility with every device, or that every seller, event, venue, attendee, or third party will perform as expected.

Event production, venue conditions, performer appearance, weather, transportation, parking, concessions, security, accessibility at the physical venue, and third-party goods or services are generally outside RIATICKET's control unless RIATICKET is expressly the provider.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20

Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIATICKET and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or business interruption arising from use of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIATICKET's aggregate liability arising from a particular customer transaction will not exceed the amount of platform fees actually retained by RIATICKET for that transaction, or the minimum greater amount required by applicable law. Liability arising under a separate seller agreement may be governed by that agreement.

Sellers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RIATICKET from claims, losses, refunds, fines, penalties, damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from the seller's events, listings, venue operations, taxes, staff, content, privacy practices, legal violations, customer obligations, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by RIATICKET's own unlawful conduct.

Liability limitations vary by jurisdiction and may not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, statutory rights, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.
21

Complaints, Disputes, and Governing Terms

Users should first contact RIATICKET support with the relevant account, order, ticket, event, or payout information and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate. Event-specific complaints may be referred to the applicable seller or venue.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the RIATICKET legal entity providing the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Any separate seller agreement may specify additional governing-law, venue, mediation, arbitration, or dispute-resolution terms.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a party from seeking emergency injunctive relief, reporting a matter to a regulator, exercising non-waivable consumer rights, or using a legally protected payment-dispute process.

Before publication, RIATICKET should insert its exact contracting legal entity, registered address, governing state or country, court venue, and any chosen arbitration or class-action provisions after review by qualified counsel.
22

Changes to These Terms and Contact Information

RIATICKET may revise these Terms to reflect changes in services, technology, risk, law, or business practices. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Additional notice may be provided for material changes where required.

Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If a user does not agree to revised Terms, the user must stop using the affected services, subject to obligations connected with existing orders, events, refunds, disputes, and payouts.

Questions may be submitted through the RIATICKET contact page or by emailing help@riaticket.com. Do not send passwords, verification codes, complete payment card numbers, or card security codes by email.
